Hello, and some news!

Hello old friends!
I hope everyone is well!  Unfortunately, I had to take some unplanned time away from Haunt after last year's Autumn sale due to illness.  I regret that the uncertainty of my health kept me away for longer than I would have guessed, but I'm looking forward to getting back to business, and anticipate a refreshing Spring (Summer?) sale very soon!  I will most likely open the doors in early June. 

I also have some good news!  I've decided to move away from the seasonal sales, and will keep the Big Cartel shop open on a permanent basis (starting with the Spring/Summer opening). This means that my main line (which I will be adding to later this year with new scents and possibly products), will be available year round, with, of course, the usual seasonal offerings arriving at their appropriate
times. :D  

However, because of my family commitments and ongoing health issues (I have been newly diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is life-long and involves periods of disability),  there will be an ebb and flow as far as product availability.   Stock levels will be lower initially than they have been for seasonal sales, but I will be restocking on a regular basis, as I am able to.  When a product sells out, I'll be updating the product listing with an anticipated restock date.  I'll also be utilizing the "updates and info" section of the shop more frequently so that you won't have to jump around from the blog to the shop looking for updates. 

I think moving away from what have become gigantic seasonal sales will allow me to serve you better, with a faster turnaround, and have more control over my workload. 

I'll be sending out the Spring/Summer newsletter soon, and will also update here and in the shop when I have an opening date.  I hope to see many of you in June!

I'm sorry that I'm behind on emails again!  Arrgh! I'm racing like a madwoman to get the orders done- I'll update with specifics later today.  I should be able to give an exact time of when all orders will be shipped- I'm very, very close.
I want to get your orders to you as much as you want to receive them!  Truly! There are just so many more than I anticipated. Thank you, all!

shipping update

Hi everyone!
Very quick update!  I'm getting closer...  I'll be packing and shipping orders through the weekend, as quickly as possible. I'm still on 9/30 orders today, but this is probably 98% of the total orders received, so please don't be worried if you placed your order early in the sale, and haven't received a shipping notice yet.  The way the orders fall on my master list comes down to minutes instead of days, so it's hard to give exact updates!  The orders from 10/1-10/2 will be much, much quicker to process.  I'm going to try to get caught up on emails today. shipping update

Hi everyone!
Shipping will continue through this week, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that I finish on time!  Most of the orders were placed on 9/30, so I'm still working on those.  Thank you to my regulars for your continued patience and patronage, and to my many new customers who decided to try Haunt during a sale with one of my longer turnarounds! :D  I am grateful to you all. 

I'd like to also express my apologies for letting my emails get a little messy again.  If you have recently emailed me and have not received a response, please consider resending it.  I apologize sincerely for this inconvenience! 

I do plan on holding a small overstock sale with any of the remaining Autumn stock, and then I don't know when my next shop opening will be.  I have decided that future sales will be much, much smaller, so this is good news as far as TAT is concerned! :)  I may do a series of very small sales throughout the year, instead of one giant one for each season.

shipping update

Hi everyone!
Autumn Apothecary shipping will commence this week!  I apologize for starting a few days later than I stated in my last post- but I'm still on track with my original TAT, so don't fear!  I may have posssssibly gotten a little ambitious with the little details considering the number of products/orders. :D    I'm going to process the orders and pack the boxes a little differently this time, in hopes of increasing my daily output of packages, so that I can stay on track with the 8 week turnaround.  Here are a few details regarding the process:

~As normal, orders will be processed in the order that they appear on my master order list, which I print directly from PayPal.  This puts the orders received in a fairly chronological order (since so many orders are placed at the same time or close together, the list is an approximate time of order, not exact).  I'm going to take a quick look through the orders and pull out the really small ones to send first (lip balms/single product- this won't take long), and then I'll start at the beginning of the list (first orders placed).

~IMPORTANT CHANGE:  To help increase my daily package output, I'm going to process combined shipping/shipping overage refunds at the end of each day, so you may get your shipping notice and shipping refund at separate times (possibly up to a day apart).
