shipping update
I'm sorry this is late! I'd like to first say that I am extremely sorry for starting out the Etsy sale with a lower turnaround time, and then changing it several times. In the perfect vision of hindsight, I know that this was a mistake, and I shouldn't have tried to be a superwoman thinking I could get orders out quickly. I should have just opened with a longer TAT, and could have avoided many of the problems I'm facing now.
When I did see that the number of orders were getting to be beyond my control, I closed the shop 20 days earlier than planned, but I think it was too late at that point! I am grateful that you decided to put your faith in me and my products, and I do not take this lightly in the least. Please understand that I am trying to do the best I can, and cannot physically do anything more to speed this process. Again, I am sorry to inconvenience anyone, and I understand completely why some of you are upset. I will try to do what I can to help you when you contact me.
Getting through the hundreds of orders from Oct.1 has taken me much longer than I would have liked, but they are mostly done, as well as some of the Oct. 2-3 orders. What I am doing at this point is filling as many orders as I can with the products I have on hand, and then taking a day off of packing to make more products, and then going back to the orders that had out of stock items. Each order requires 5 or 6 steps to complete it, and many of them are very large, so I can only get out 15-20 packages a day while I am alone during the week. When I have the assistance of my husband on the weekends, I can do more.
After the bulk of the Oct.2-3 orders are out (I'm planning on this weekend), again, things will move faster because there aren't that number of orders on the other days of sales.
I'm not quite caught up on Etsy convos (I'm trying to balance these with packing/production), but I'm getting close. Thank you, again, for your patience.

I've had an announcement to make for a little while now, and have been trying to decide on the best time for sharing with you all. Since many of you are wondering if I'll be reopening Etsy for Christmas/Holiday items, I thought I should get this off of my chest now.
Haunt will be closing at the end of this year, and I most likely won't be reopening the Etsy shop for the 2009 holidays. After Jan 1 (or possibly sooner, depending on location), my products will no longer be available at any retail location. I may try to open up my website or Etsy once or twice a year for some seasonal treats, but will be going back to being a 100% full time mom the rest of the time. I've been very lucky to see the hard work, love and dedication I've put into Haunt result in a successful and ever-growing business. I have come to realize, however, that I'm not the girl for the job anymore!
It isn't possible for me to continue running Haunt alone anymore, and moving off site and possibly hiring an employee or two is not an option either, as I need to be at home with my son. So, as of Jan.1, Haunt will be closing. I'm so grateful for the support all of you have shown the company, and me, as a person. I'll miss everyone very much!

I'm trying to do this quickly so that I can get back to packing! I had to change my turnaround to 3-4 weeks from time of order. I didn't think this was going to happen this time around, but I didn't accurately predict the volume of orders I would receive, and how much time I would need for customer service related things. I'll have help packing orders (from my handy husband) from Oct. 23-25, and we plan on shipping a few hundred boxes during this time. I'll also be working on getting completely caught up on emails and convos, so those of you who have been waiting, you should hear from me over the next couple of days.
Some of you have asked about shipping confirmation emails, which I will begin to send with all orders from today on. I was trying to save time by leaving out that step, but with my sporadic shipping and ever changing TAT, I understand that this is important to you.

Etsy feedback
Hi everyone!
I've received numerous emails regarding order processing and Etsy feedback, so I thought I would post this in an effort to save time. Some of you are concerned that you see feedback left from customers who placed orders after yours. There are a few reasons for this: many customers placed multiple orders on different days, so I combine those orders and send them together. So, if someone placed an order on Oct. 1, and also ordered on the 9th, you may see feedback for both dates. I have also received feedback from some supportive customers who haven't actually received their orders yet, so this may be confusing when you are trying to gauge where I am in order processing. Finally, I've processed a couple of "urgent" orders that contained items for birthdays or other time sensitive events, but these are few. I hope this clears things up a little, but please contact me if you are still concerned.

shipping update
Hi everyone!
Oh my! I gravely underestimated how long it would take me to process these orders. The bulk of orders through Oct.1 have been processed, and the last of these will ship out 10/19-10/20. I'm still working on the final orders from Oct.1 through orders placed 10/2-3. I am going as quickly as I can to get through these, because things will go much faster after these days of orders are completed. I want to assure you that I am doing everything I can to get your packages to you in a timely manner, but will admit that the amount of orders that I have to process is a monumental undertaking! I am, as always, extremely grateful for your patience.
If you are due a shipping refund, there may be a slight delay (a day or so) between when your order is shipped and when I send the refund. This is because I use one website to print shipping labels, and another to process the refunds (PayPal). It's more efficient for me to wait until I have a stack of refunds to process and do them all at once. I hope this hasn't caused any confusion.
Please contact me if you have any concerns about your order. I'm still working my way through convos, so please don't feel as though I'm ignoring you!

Haunt at Magical Omaha and Faery's Muse
Hi everyone!
I know many of you are looking for Haunt products now that the Etsy shop is closed, and the lovely folks at Magical Omaha and Faery's Muse would like to help you out! The products have been back ordered since the beginning of October, but are arriving now to both stores. I apologize for keeping anyone waiting! I misjudged the amount of Fall products I would need by quite a bit, so I've been scrambling to get more products made.
For those of you that ordered limited edition Haunt products from either Magical Omaha or Faery's Muse and have experienced a delay in receiving your order, this is completely my fault, but I think I'm getting on top of my stock issues now. I'd like to thank my wonderful Haunt resellers for their continued patience with me.

I'm currently working on Sept. 30- Oct.2 orders. This is where the bulk of the orders fall, so this section will take the longest. There are also so many multiple orders, that I've been double checking each order to see if it's a single or multiple, and then providing shipping refunds where necessary. This process is slowing things down a little, but I don't want anyone to be stuck with multiple shipping charges if it isn't necessary. I was expecting a good number of orders (due to your excited emails!), but ended with about 4x what I planned (the same is true for Etsy convos/emails), so I appreciate very, very much your patience and understanding as I work to get these out to you and answer all inquiries/order requests. Etsy closing date
Hi everyone!
I'm still working my way through Etsy convos from Oct. 1-2. I have a very large number of them to go through, so thank you for your patience!
I've decided on a closing date, which will be October 11. I know this is earlier than I originally thought, but after feeling out the situation, I think it would be wisest for me to close a little early and be sure to get everyone's orders to them before Halloween, and I think it still gives everyone who wishes to time to place an order. I'm also flexible, so if you don't have time to get your order in before the shop closes, just send me a convo or email. I do still plan to list a few soaps next week, and if they aren't gone by the time I close, I'll leave them up a few extra days.

update on Etsy shop
Hi everyone!
I'm so sorry to those of you who were waiting for my shop to open last night. My computer is completely overloaded and needs an upgrade, so getting everything loaded into the shop took me all day and night. If I had known how long it would take I would have started much sooner. I think I'm out of practice!
I still have a few of my regular line items that I want to add (I'm not listing everything because I need to keep my TAT reasonable), but I had to start working on answering convos because they're piling up very fast. If you are waiting for a refund, order addition, or just have a question, I'm working on answering convos non-stop this evening. Please know everything I do concerning Haunt is done while caring for my son, so I am not able to work at the speed I would if I was a full time business. I appreciate your understanding and continued desire to support my company in spite of the delays, because this is not a situation that I can change.
I will continue to make the seasonal products to keep them in stock, so don't be worried if something appears to be "sold out". I'll re-list items as I see them depleted.
I plan to list more soaps at the end of next week, including the limited editions. I may have some more seasonal soaps at the end of October- I ran out of time to make them in time for the shop opening. I had a very busy August/September!
