I'll be finishing up the orders from the Halloween sale today. To those of you who are receiving your orders now, I want to extend my deepest apologies for the delivery notice confusion and extended wait that I caused you. In my increasing panic to return all of the shipping overages (a rather large amount that was looming!), I allowed a number of orders to fall behind in being shipped, some over a week. And now, some changes! I finally accept that I can't complete a "full-time" amount of work on my part-time availability! So, in addition to the changes I'll be making to shipping charges for the next sale, I'm also going to finally just give in and extend my turnaround time to 6-8 weeks, at least for the time being. This will allow me to keep better track of orders, as I won't be processing/packing in a frenzy whenever I can catch a free moment throughout the day. :D I can slow down just a little, make sure each customer is taken care of properly, has an exact ship date, etc. If I can get a really good system in place finally, perhaps this TAT can improve for future sales.
Thank you all again for your orders from the Halloween sale. It was the largest of the three that I've had, and I was actually taken a little by surprise by the number of new customers that I met. I appreciate you taking the plunge, and I hope you will be back again!

update 10/25
Hi everyone!
I apologize for being away so long! I've gotten some inquiries regarding shipping notices that were sent out on Oct.19 (and perhaps a few from the 18th). Because I'm not shipping packages every day due to order volume and increased "paperwork" this time around (shipping refunds, etc.), there may be 2-3 days lag from the time you receive your CNS to the time it is physically dropped off at the post office, and some of the orders processed on the 19th may have been sent out a day or two later than that, due to an oversight on my part. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience or worry that this has caused.
My main priority was to get everyone their shipping refunds (especially for multiple orders) as quickly as I could- some were completed beforehand (if you contacted me to let me know), but most were done at the time of packing so that I could get an actual shipping weight. This process took quite a bit longer than I anticipated, and therefore I wasn't able to get packages out every day.
As always, I am responsible for all packages in transit, and for ensuring your satisfaction after you have received it, so please don't be concerned if your think your order may be lost or overlooked.
I want to thank you all, truly, for your understanding when I hit a snag like this with shipping.

shipping update 10/14
Hi everyone!
I'm working very quickly to get your orders to you! I'll have some help tomorrow, so I'm hopeful that I can get through the majority of the orders between today and tomorrow. I'm still trying to get to all of the shipping refunds for multiple orders- this turned out to be a much bigger job than I anticipated, with the majority of the orders being multiples! I'm refunding as many as I can beforehand, and then catching the ones I missed as I pack those orders. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding- I am very mindful of the fact that the extra shipping that many of you paid is in my care, and I want to get it back to you as quickly as I can!
I'll be packing orders all day, and then printing labels/emailing delivery confirmation notices tonight, so keep an eye on your inbox! Thank you so much, everyone.

shipping update 10/11
Hi everyone!
Things are moving along... I've got a bunch of shipping labels to print today, and you'll start seeing delivery confirmation notices in your inbox over the next few days. I STILL have shipping refunds to process, but I'm trying to get those done today and tomorrow. This time around the majority of you placed multiple orders, so I will definitely be changing the way I do shipping for the next sale. I'm leaning towards just invoicing for actual shipping after each order is packed, rather than a flat rate up front. In the future I'll be selling through my website, so hopefully all of this can be avoided! Thank you all again!

Update!
something fun that you may find in your package...Hi everyone!
I've started shipping packages, but still have plenty of invoicing and combined shipping returns to do- it's a lot for a young lass to do alone! :D Don't worry if you haven't received an invoice or shipping refund yet- I'm planning on finishing them all by the end of the weekend. Thank you all for your reminder convos, and patience.
I'm going to do something different for shipping for the next sale, to make things easier on everyone, and to allow international orders to be made more easily. I'll let you know what I decide on before the November sale.

Etsy restock
Hi everyone!
I'm so sorry that I didn't get the chance to do a proper update for the Etsy sale! Last week was so crazy for me. Thank you to all who placed orders yesterday and today! It's always so nice to see my old friends again!
Right now I have many, MANY order requests and order add-on requests that I would normally try my hardest to honor. Because I decided to sell only a limited number of products this time (to keep my TAT reasonable), I'm heartbroken to say that I can't honor most of these requests. Instead, what I'm going to do is list the remaining items that I have in the Etsy shop this evening (Oct.2) at 9:00 pm ET, for anyone to purchase. This is the fairest way I can think of doing things, although it does pain me! I'm sorry for the short notice, but I need to finish up with the sales so that I can get right to packing things. I'm going to need every minute of the 10 day TAT, I'm afraid, as I still have hundreds of convos and shipping refunds to attend to. Thank you all again.
ALSO! I've decided that if things go smoothly with getting the Halloween orders out, I would like to have another sale in November for Holiday items. This would include more of my main line of products that I didn't get the chance to make this time, as well as some limiteds. I hope that some of you who missed out on the Halloween sale can find some favorites at that time. I'd like to try to do these two sales yearly, as I think that would be something I could do and still honor my personal responsibilities. Yay!

edit: I came back to add that I'm sorry to those of you who may have waited out the "madness" of the sale thinking that you could get a reserved listing later (like in the past when I had unlimited stock). If I was thinking clearly, I would have mentioned beforehand that custom listings might not be a possibility if things were selling fast. I'm still learning what works best for all of us, and I hope you can forgive me when I make a few mistakes along the way!
